General Discussion / Re: JUST IN CASE

No one is stopping you say what you like subject to the usual warnings about reading the AUP. I'm just wondering if you can be a bit more specific. You might be interested to know I have even created a special predictions group which you can use for this kind of thing.

Prediction Corner / Guidelines for prediction corner
« on: April 18, 2008, 03:01:46 PM »
This group is for anyone who has had a premonition or thinks they have deciphered a quatrain. For anyone who feels like posting, understand these truths:

1. Write in as straightforward way possible. Say what you mean and don't bore people with vague language, riddles, allegories or whatever.
2. Be specific. If you think a ship will sink then say "a ship will sink". Do not expect anyone to be impressed if you say "a disaster will happen" without saying what disaster actually is.
3. Limit your prediction. Put a date on your prediction or a time frame. Open ended predictions will always come true, so what's the point?
4. One prediction at a time! If you have more than one prediction, split them out into separate predictions rather than making people wade through a laundry list.
5. Don't predict the obvious. Quakes or hurricanes strike particular places all the time, so don't bother predicting something that will happen anyway.
6. Even a broken clock is right twice a day! Anybody can post a dozen semi-likely predictions and be assured of a few hitting. It does not mean much if the rest missed.
7. No retroactive predictions. Predicting something before the event would be nice.
8. No links to offsite predictions. Make your prediction here for all to see where you cannot change it afterwards.

Your prediction will be taken more seriously if it is detailed and highly specific. Open ended, ambiguous or vague predictions mean very little. Attempting to massage a vague prediction to fit some event will be seriously frowned upon.

Important note: Due to the nature of this group, edits and deletions are not permitted.

Site News & Information / New quatrain browser

I've coded up an interactive quatrain browser which is accessible from and from the main page.

The new browser is fairly simple but it allows you to look through the quatrains without jumping around from page to page. Some older browsers may not work with the code so I have kept the links to the old static pages so you can use either method.

The new books page is live. Check it out -

It shows you books and other items for sale on ebay. The quality of items on sale today runs from a 1672 1st edition Folio of his writings to some dubious looking Nostradamus-like prophecies e-books.

I guess, use your own discretion and enjoy!
